Nirvana Heiress: Reborn and Returning to Stir Up a Storm

Chapter 192 Room for Maneuver

Chapter 192 Room for Maneuver

The meeting room was completely silent, the air seemingly frozen. Lin Chuyue stood before the conference table, the documents in her hands rustling softly. Her gaze, sharp as a blade, pierced directly at Zhao Zhenghai, whose face instantly darkened, a flicker of panic crossing his eyes before he quickly suppressed it.

"Chuyue, are you really sure you want to do this?" Zhao Zhenghai's voice was low and carried a hint of threat. He had thought that, given his influence on the board of directors and his relationships with some high-ranking officials, Lin Chuyue wouldn't act easily, much less expose these confidential documents in front of everyone.

However, Lin Chuyue's eyes remained calm, and her tone showed no wavering: "I already have the mastermind behind you and the flow of your funds under my control. Zhao Zhenghai, I believe you are aware that once this information is exposed, not only will your personal reputation be damaged, but the entire company will also face severe damage."

As soon as she finished speaking, Li Zhanchuan stood up and calmly added, "What President Lin said is true. We have already handed over this evidence to our lawyers and are preparing to make it public. If you continue to do so, you will bear all the risks yourself."

Li Zhanchuan's words further solidified Lin Chuyue's stance. With his support, she became even more determined to expose Zhao Zhenghai's true colors and seize control of the company.

Zhao Zhenghai remained silent for a moment, a dangerous glint in his eyes, as if weighing whether he should abandon the fight. The atmosphere in the conference room grew increasingly tense, even the air itself seemed heavy.

"Do you think this information can threaten me?" Zhao Zhenghai sneered, stood up, and said with a hint of sarcasm, "Lin Chuyue, you will never understand that true power is never on the public table."

He walked to the window, his back to the crowd, and said calmly, "The resources and connections I've accumulated over the years are beyond what you young people can imagine. The evidence you've fabricated here is nothing but bluff."

Lin Chuyue's eyes narrowed slightly. Sensing the hostility in Zhao Zhenghai's words, she had no intention of letting this standoff end there. She knew that Zhao Zhenghai would never give in easily, but she had no way out either.

“Zhao Zhenghai, you may have some resources, but you’re wrong about one thing. True power isn’t found in deals hidden in the shadows, but in the courage to stand in the light and expose everything,” Lin Chuyue said firmly. “Today, the shady dealings behind your back must end.”

She placed the documents in her hand on the table and slowly pushed them to the other side of the conference table. The documents detailed Zhao Zhenghai's financial dealings and secret transactions with external forces; these documents had been verified by multiple parties and were absolutely true.

Then, Lin Chuyue pressed a button on the table, and the large screen in the conference room immediately lit up. A series of bank transfer records, virtual account fund flow charts, and even communication records between Zhao Zhenghai and certain international businessmen appeared on the screen. Everything seemed to be presented to every director present within those few seconds.

"As you can all see, Zhao Zhenghai's dealings with these external forces are no secret." Lin Chuyue's voice was calm, yet carried a sense of pressure. "These deals involve the future of the company, and also the interests of each and every one of you. If you choose to ignore this evidence, then your relationship with Zhao Zhenghai will become the company's most fatal weakness."

The board members in the conference room exchanged glances, many lowering their heads in deep thought. Zhao Zhenghai's expression grew increasingly grim, his eyes practically overflowing with anger, yet he maintained a facade of composure.

"Lin Chuyue, do you really think you can turn things around with these insignificant documents?" Zhao Zhenghai's voice became sharp, his eyes flashing with uncontrollable anger. "You've only pieced together fragments, but you've never truly touched the core."

At this moment, a director whispered, "This evidence is real." His tone carried a hint of uncertainty, but also a clear hesitation. "If that's the case, we can no longer continue cooperating with President Zhao."

These words were like a pebble thrown into a calm lake, immediately sparking discussion among the other directors. Several directors who had previously maintained good relations with Zhao Zhenghai displayed varying expressions, seemingly considering their next move.

Lin Chuyue observed this and her heart stirred. She then said, "I understand everyone's concerns. Every director is a shareholder of the company and a part of its future. I don't want to tear apart the existing cooperative relationship, but rather I hope to guide the company onto a more stable path."

She smiled slightly, a cold glint in her eyes: "If you choose to stand with me, then we will work together to expose Zhao Zhenghai's crimes and protect the company's interests. If you choose to continue cooperating with Zhao Zhenghai, then I can only say that I cannot predict the future."

After these words, everyone fell silent. Each director was making a decision in their hearts, and Lin Chuyue's gaze seemed to be scrutinizing their reactions one by one.

Suddenly, a soft cough broke the silence. Li Gang stood up and stood next to Lin Chuyue, holding a new document in his hand. He calmly said, "I just received information that Zhao Zhenghai's fund flows have been intercepted by the bank. This new evidence directly points to transactions between Zhao Zhenghai and external forces."

Zhao Zhenghai's face immediately turned ashen, and beads of sweat silently rolled down his face, clearly indicating that the matter could no longer be concealed.

Lin Chuyue turned to Zhao Zhenghai, her tone devoid of any emotion: "You have no room for maneuver, Zhao Zhenghai. If you don't admit your mistakes, the final outcome will only be that you and all your stains will be dragged down."

The madness that flashed in Zhao Zhenghai's eyes was instantly replaced by reason. He knew that he had lost this gamble.
