Chapter 226 The First Battle on Onphalus

Just as Lin Qiong was lost in thought, Xing's exclamation suddenly rang in his ears, instantly pulling him back to reality.

"Qiong! Look over there!" Xing grabbed Lin Qiong's arm and shook it hard. "That's the pink puppy I was talking about!"

"Stop, stop, stop! Don't shake, I'm watching!"

"Chase! Why wouldn't we chase? We should see if they're friend or foe first." Lin Qiong replied decisively without the slightest hesitation.

The three then passed through the gate and walked up the road until they came to a bridge that was broken in the middle.

"Is this... a local building?" Lin Qiong looked up at the magnificent, castle-like building across the bridge and murmured.

Although the building had become quite old, the intact city gate still exuded an awe-inspiring aura.

"Look this way," Danheng's voice suddenly rang out, "it's the stone statue we saw when we came here."

Lin Qiong looked in the direction of the sound and, following Dan Heng's direction, indeed saw the stone statue carrying a large sphere on its back.

Unlike what he saw inside the carriage, Lin Qiong could now clearly see that the stone statue stood atop a group of unidentified buildings, its shape, carrying a large sphere, seemed to be supporting the heavens and the earth.
