Lin Shushu then learned that in the lake on the East Sea island, Mo Ze had been severely injured while trying to retrieve the magical artifact from the bottom of the lake, but he had endured it without showing it.

Lin Shushu felt a pang of self-reproach; she had been so focused on finding the fragments of the Brahma Bowl that she hadn't noticed Mo Ze's unusual condition. In the center of the secret chamber, the fourth fragment of Brahma's bowl was emitting a soft light, quietly awaiting them.
