Dragon Clan: I'm too lazy to talk to you, you're not worthy to listen!

Chapter 31's offer of amnesty was already an act of mercy.

Chapter 31's offer of amnesty was already an act of mercy.

Sakuracho Park.

Ye Jingchen glanced indifferently at the fierce ghosts and little ghosts around him. Seeing that they were all obedient and no longer made any rash moves, he did not continue to make things difficult for them.

Ye Jingchen pointed his sword downwards and shouted, "Fall!"

The samurai swords that had been floating in the air fell straight down and stuck into the ground around Ye Jingchen, looking like a Bagua sword formation.

The kids breathed a sigh of relief when they saw the katana fall to the ground.

Upon seeing this, the silver-masked boy, Inuyama Gin, felt his eyes twitch beneath the mask, a renewed hope for survival rekindled. "Are you going to let us go, sir?"

"There's no benefit in making things difficult for you, so why would I make things difficult for you for no reason?" Ye Jingchen blew on his fingers idly. "It's just that you didn't have the right attitude from the beginning. If you're asking for help, you should act like you're asking for help. Don't show off your strength or power."

"Was it Sakurai Kogure who told you to test me? Genji is probably too lazy to engage in such scheming."

"Yes," Inuyama Gin nodded, knowing that he and his men were nothing more than fish on a chopping board, utterly despondent.

“You have a bit of cleverness, but not much. Sakurai Kogure sent you to communicate with me, which means she trusts you,” Ye Jingchen said, closing his eyes as Inuyama Gin confirmed his guess. “Go back and tell her that in her future thinking and actions, she must position herself as the future daughter-in-law of the second son of the Snake-Headed Eight Families. If she chooses the wrong side, both she and you will be doomed. You and Kinsho must diligently assist Minamoto no Chizuru and her on the side of the Demon Clan.”

Although Inuyama Gin was inexperienced, he roughly understood what Ye Jingchen meant. His voice trembled as he cautiously asked, "Commissioner Ye, can demons like us who have committed so many evil deeds really return to the Snake Clan? Is this a scheme to imprison us all? If so, you might as well end me with a single blow now. I would rather die than live like a prisoner."

The eyes of the surrounding demons and lesser demons dimmed as well. In truth, many of them were not as bad as the public imagined, and had not done anything heinous. They had simply escaped from the Snake-Headed Eight Family because they could no longer endure that prison-like life.

"Actually, I don't care about the lives of you little ghosts. In my eyes, you're just a bunch of numbers, nothing more." Ye Jingchen glanced around at the ghosts.

His eyes were full of indifference. "If it weren't for Genjiro involving Genjiro, Genjiro involving Sakurai Kogure, and Sakurai Kogure involving you and Mad Demon Jin, and if your Demon Clan hadn't originally been members of the Snake Clan, I would have started the human pig breeding plan long ago! Why would I be dragging my feet on this 'Recruitment Plan'?"

"The struggle of fate has always been like this. I have already shown mercy by offering you amnesty." Ye Jingchen raised his sword finger slightly, and the samurai swords around him flew up, pointing at their original wearers.

Seeing Ye Jingchen's sudden action, Inuyama Gin panicked and stretched out his right hand, "Didn't you say you wouldn't make things difficult for us?"

Ye Jingchen flicked his sword!

The samurai swords flew towards their original wielders!

Inuyama Gin and the remaining surviving demons felt their hearts suddenly stop, as if they had fallen into a cold storage room. A chilling sense of death spread from their feet to their hearts, instantly engulfing their entire bodies.

Inuyama Gin closed his eyes, unable to bear the sight of the horrific scene.

Knowing they were doomed, the group of fierce ghosts and lesser ghosts all closed their eyes in unison, waiting for the cold blade to end their lives.

Whoosh...

Three or four seconds passed, and no one at the scene had died.

Upon closer inspection, everyone realized that their katana had not pierced their fragile bodies, but had instead returned to their sheaths at their waists. It turned out that Ye Jingchen had no intention of killing them.

"Take them back to where they came from. Remember to deliver my message to Sakurai Kogure properly." Ye Jingchen opened his eyes and looked at Inuyama Gin with an unquestionable gaze. "When you leave, take these dead brats lying on the ground with you. I still want to take Erii around here some more."

Upon hearing this, Inuyama Gin felt as if he had been granted a pardon! He thought to himself, "God, at least I don't have to dance on a tightrope anymore!"

He nodded repeatedly, "Yes, yes, sir, we'll clean this place up and leave right away!"

Ye Jingchen did not answer, but looked at the long, dark night sky and nodded.

Inuyama Gin and his gang quickly cleaned up the scene and disappeared without a trace, as if they had vanished into thin air.

This farce came quickly and went quickly.

"Eri, you can open your eyes now." Ye Jingchen gently tapped Erii's palm.

Erii lowered her hands from her eyes, opened them, and the first thing she saw was Ye Jingchen.

She wrote in her notebook: "Eri heard what Ye-kun said just now. Why does Ye-kun always make Erii close her eyes? Erii is very curious."

Erii tilted her head, looking at Ye Jingchen with a puzzled expression.

Ye Jingchen gently ruffled Erii's hair. "I want the world that Erii sees to be as clean as possible."

Erii touched her lips, nodded thoughtfully, and wrote in her notebook, "Ya-kun, is the world really that unclean?"

Ye Jingchen closed his eyes. "Sometimes it's quite clean, but the world always makes mistakes."

A glint of shrewdness flashed in Erii's eyes, and she wrote in her notebook, "Eri knows this. Erii has seen this line in many anime: 'It's not me who's wrong, it's the world!'"

Erii made tiger claws with both hands and roared like a dragon, mimicking the evil dragon's howl from the main villain in the anime.

Ye Jingchen saw the bluish-black veins on the inside of Erii's forearm, as well as the white dragon scales around the veins, and thought to himself, "Erii, who loves to smile, has already begun to show signs of dragonification even without using her incantation."

Erii is not actually Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto, but Susanoo-no-Mikoto. Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto (actually Minamoto no Wakana) and Amaterasu-no-Mikoto (Minamoto no Wakana) are of stable bloodlines and can bring happiness and light to people. Susanoo-no-Mikoto, on the other hand, is of unstable bloodlines and will bring disaster and darkness to people.

“Eri is definitely not wrong, the world is definitely wrong.” Ye Jingchen laughed, not caring about anything else, and pulled Erii toward the night market, “Come on, Erii, I’ll take you to eat some snacks.”

Erii clapped her hands and laughed happily, writing in her notebook: "Erii wants to eat..."

"Five-Eyes Fried Rice, is it? I'll order you a super large portion." Ye Jingchen smiled, took out the bank card that Schneider had brought, and waved it in his hand.

Erii nodded frantically, her eyes sparkling, and wrote in her notebook: "Ye-kun is amazing, he knows everything!"

"Let's go." Ye Jingchen looked at the dazzling, brightly lit street and rolled his eyes. "I wonder if Genjiro and his father have found Genjiro yet. I haven't seen Genjiro yet. I wonder if he looks like Genjiro, no, I should say whether he looks like Uesugi Kotsugi."

Ye Jingchen led Erii into the bustling city.
