The courtyard was bustling with a few more people. Gu's parents were hardworking, which lightened Shu Yun's burden considerably. On her days off, Shu Yun would immerse herself in her study.
Gu Jun brought in a cup of hot milk, and Shu Yun took it, sipped it, stretched her limbs, and yawned.

"Mom bought new clothes?"
Gu Yuanyuan nodded, "Yes." She lowered her voice and whispered in Shu Yun's ear, "Mom was initially unwilling to buy it because she thought it was too expensive. She had already put it down and was about to leave when she saw Dad trying on a Zhongshan suit."
