"Does it hurt?" Su Ruowei walked to Lin Fan's side.

"Does your face hurt?"
Lin Fan suddenly looked up and saw Su Ruowei standing to the side, her figure perfectly outlined by the streetlights.
"Ruowei, why did you come to see me?" Lin Fan rubbed his eyes, unable to believe that Su Ruowei would come to see him.
"Don't overthink it, I was just passing by. Does your face still hurt?" Su Ruowei pouted, her words devoid of any warmth.
"It doesn't hurt at all, thank you for your concern!" Lin Fan said with a smile.
"That's good." Su Ruowei looked at Lin Fan with mixed feelings. She wanted to say that Lin Fan had disappointed her, that she didn't want to wait for him anymore, and that she wanted a divorce, but in the end, she couldn't bring herself to say it.
However, Lin Fan could still see the disappointment in Su Ruowei's cold eyes.
"How will you get home?" Lin Fan asked hesitantly.
"The bus, please."
"Then, shall we go together?"
Su Ruowei nodded gently.
The car arrived, and the two got in, sitting together like a couple, but keeping a distance between them.
"Where did the luminous pearl come from?" Su Ruowei asked, hoping Lin Fan would give a decent answer.
"Pick it up."
"Oh." Su Ruowei only said one word, the last word on her way home.
Lin Fan didn't say anything more, only occasionally glancing at Su Ruowei.
In the residential complex, the two walked up the stairs, with Su Ruowei in front and Lin Fan following behind, but they were a full half-floor apart.
Lin Fan watched as Su Ruowei took just one more step into her home and called out, "I want to change for you!"
"How do you want to change things?" Su Ruo smiled, her feelings complicated. She knew Lin Fan's current situation well; he was a live-in son-in-law who didn't even have a skill.
"Me?" Lin Fan hesitated.
Su Ruowei was somewhat disappointed and regretted that she had actually had some expectations of him just a moment ago.
"I'll show you the real me, just give me some time!"
Su Ruowei ignored her and walked straight into the house.
