Ji Momo had never seen Qin Reng look so fierce before. She was terrified, her face paling, and she froze in place. Ji Momo's face paled, a flicker of panic crossing her eyes, but she quickly regained her composure and said, "Qin Reng, what are you saying? I don't understand..."
"Don't you understand?" Qin Reng sneered, suddenly stood up, pulled Yu Yuetong off the bed, and hugged her tightly. He declared to Ji Momo as if asserting his ownership, "Let me tell you, this is my wife! I love her too much to let her suffer. You better put away your little schemes, or don't blame me for being impolite!"
Yu Yuetong was a little confused by his sudden action, but she quickly recovered and leaned into Qin Reng's arms, looking at Ji Momo provocatively.
Upon seeing this, Ji Momo's face turned deathly pale, her eyes filled with disbelief and hurt. She never imagined that Qin Reng would say such a thing in front of her.
"Qin Reng, you...you really love her?" Ji Momo's voice trembled, her eyes filled with despair and pain.
"So what if I am?" Qin Reng answered without hesitation, his tone firm and resolute. "The person I love is Yu Yuetong, and it has nothing to do with you!"

She staggered back a few steps, then suddenly turned around and ran out of the ward crying.
Qin Reng watched her fleeing figure, his eyes filled with nothing but coldness and disgust, devoid of any pity.
"Hmph, serves her right!" Yu Yuetong felt a surge of satisfaction looking at Ji Momo's disheveled appearance. She raised her head and looked at Qin Reng with a smile, "President Qin, your acting skills are getting better and better. It's a pity you're not an actor."
Qin Reng looked down at her, a hint of a smile in his eyes. He reached out and pinched her nose, saying in a doting tone, "You're not bad either, you little liar."
Yu Yuetong's heart raced at his sudden display of affection, but she maintained a calm demeanor and said, "Likewise."
“However…” Qin Reng suddenly leaned close to her ear and said in an ambiguous tone, “Shouldn’t we continue what we were just interrupted about?”

"Little liar, you're actually quite convincing at it," Qin Reng whispered in Yu Yuetong's ear, his tone tinged with a hint of mockery.
Yu Yuetong snapped out of her daze, shoved Qin Reng away, and rolled her eyes: "Don't think I don't know what you're thinking. If you're going to act, then act. Don't get physical!"
"Oh, you're quite into character." Qin Reng wasn't annoyed; instead, he looked at her with interest. "What, are you afraid I'll take it too seriously?"
"Who's afraid of you!" Yu Yuetong retorted defiantly, though her heart was pounding. Qin Reng's gaze was just too... too aggressive!
"It's good that you're not afraid." Qin Reng said, suddenly reaching out to hook her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye. "After all, my patience is limited."
Yu Yuetong was startled by his sudden action. Just as she was about to explode, she heard the sound of the ward door being pushed open.
"Qin Reng, you..." A sharp female voice rang out, and then a woman dressed in flamboyant attire appeared at the door of the ward. She was stunned when she saw the scene before her.
Yu Yuetong and Qin Reng turned to look at the door at the same time, and saw that the person who came in was Ji Momo, who had been driven away by Qin Reng before. However, this time, she was accompanied by a man.
The man was tall with deep-set features, and dressed in a black suit, which made him appear exceptionally cold and aloof. Upon seeing the scene in the ward, his brow furrowed slightly, and a hint of displeasure flashed in his eyes.
"Brother, what brings you here?" Qin Reng's eyes flashed with surprise when he saw the person who came, but he quickly regained his composure.
"President Qin, who is this?" Upon seeing this, Yu Yuetong's heart immediately went on high alert. Could this be the legendary supporting male character—Qin Yu?
