"yu tong!" lin hanjing screamed in terror. his hands flew up all the way to his mouth as he rushed towards the cliff but someone was faster than him.

yu dong used her qing qong and then brushed past lin hanjing, her agile feet moved past the rest of the crowd. she reached out her hand and then caught yu tong's wrist. she looked down at her sister who had jumped down and hissed lightly, "this was not in the plan."

"hehehe, i thought of ending it big," yu tong whispered back.

"are you going to end your life?" yu dong questioned yu tong who was holding the bottle of poison in her hands inside her bedroom. though she seemed to be holding the bottle tightly in her hands, they were trembling and her eyes were filled with tears.

yu dong looked at the bottle and arched a brow as she leaned on the frame of the door before saying, "if that is the case then you might as well tell me what kind of coffin you want, i will have it arranged. and oh, leave a letter for grandmother... lest she blames and cries after you are gone."

"sister dong, you ... do you have to be so cruel? can you not sympathize with me a little?" yu tong felt another blow on her heart when she saw her careless yu dong was towards her life and death.

"you want to be nice to you when you are being so selfish? you are putting your life online for just a mer whom you could not get. is that even necessary?" yu dong questioned yu tong with a harsh tone. "have you ever thought about grandma? she truly cares about you... even more than me. if something happens to you, do you think that she would be able to survive?

"is this the kind of result you want?" yu dong pushed herself off the doorframe and then walked over to yu tong who was sitting on her bed. "if you want then go ahead but don't expect me to cry over this."

"well i am taking care of the entire village," yu dong remarked with a nonchalant tone. her expression turned sinister as she sneered and then said, "since that is the case then what is wrong with them sharing some of my burdens."

yu tong wanted to refuse but then yu dong said to her, "don't you want to share your feelings with lin hanjing? you are scared that he will feel burdened right? then why don't you say all of your feelings under the pretence of being drunk?"

she then tilted her head to the side and added swiftly, "and don't you want to know what lin hanjing feels for you? maybe if he sees you at the edge of life and death, he will confess his feelings for you."

though lin hanjing never said anything, yu dong had seen him acting cold and distant from the rest of the villagers. though no one in the village wanted to marry lin hanjing as he had a daughter, many wanted to spend a night with him. for this reason, there were a lot of women who tried to get closer to lin hanjing and he refused them coldly, but he was exceptionally tolerant of yu tong.

he would even let her tease him.

so, yu dong couldn't help but jump to the conclusion that the only reason lin hanjing was saying no to yu tong was because of the people and his own fear of getting abandoned. however, if he sees yu tong at her wit's end because of him ...maybe he would realize how important he was to her.
