Chapter 100 Testing
Chapter 100 Testing
The leopard clan discovered Yu's whereabouts and they all watched him warily, awaiting orders from their leader.
The leopard clan leader, Wei, stood at the front, his sharp eyes fixed on the feathers circling in the air, but he remained silent.
Yu let out a long cry in the air, the sharp sound of which was unbearable for the leopard clan beastmen, who all covered their ears.
One of the orcs couldn't help but say to the chief, "Chief, this golden eagle is a fourth-tier orc, not easy to deal with. And judging from its appearance, it seems to be showing off to us. If their tribe is all fourth-tier now, then we will definitely have no way to take over this valley."
Wei calmly observed Yu, then remained silent for a moment before speaking, "Don't act rashly yet, let's see how things go. I have a feeling things aren't that simple." After saying that, he continued to stare at Yu, a hint of doubt flashing in his eyes.
After circling a few times above the valley, Yu flew away.
Seeing this, the leopard tribe beastmen breathed a sigh of relief, but Wei's brows furrowed even more.
He pondered to himself, "What exactly does this golden eagle mean? Is it just a warning? Or does it have some other purpose? It seems we need to be more cautious this time..."
Yu Fei returned to the valley and then entered the cave to report the situation outside to Ruan Mianmian and the others.
He took a deep breath and said slowly, "They're all staying on the outskirts of the valley right now. I estimate there are about seventy or eighty leopards, the same leopard clan that lives far away on the plains. I've flown into their territory before. The recent blizzard probably destroyed their habitat, so they came here. I just gave them a warning, so they probably won't attack anytime soon, but who knows what will happen later. Now I just hope the wolf clan can get here quickly."
Ruan Mianmian couldn't help but gasp when she heard about the large number of orcs outside; their numbers were simply too much for them to handle.
She frowned, pondering a solution.
Suddenly, she thought of the system and said to it, "System, please calculate our probability of success."
The system quickly calculated and then gave its answer: "Host, your chances of victory this time are less than 30%, it's very dangerous. I suggest you abandon this place." The system reached this conclusion after comparing various factors.
Ruan Mianmian's expression turned serious; she knew that the system's judgment was usually accurate.
But she also had a strong will to never give up and didn't want to give up on this place easily.
She gritted her teeth and decided to think of other solutions.
……
Tu and Mi walked along the lake shore to the other side of the lake and found the burrow they had dug earlier.
Tu used his power again to dig the hole even bigger to ensure that Mi could pass through smoothly.
“Mi, you are very fast, so I will not go with you to the wolf clan to deliver the message. After you leave, I will fill in this pit and then return to the cave to meet up with the chief and the other members of the clan. You must hurry on your way and deliver the message.”
While continuing to dig the pit, Tu explained the next steps to Mi.
However, Mi was confused and asked, "But Tu, didn't the chief ask us to go with him to deliver the message?"
He also actively assisted in digging the pit, while expressing his concerns.
Tu stopped what he was doing and looked at Mi seriously, saying, "Mi, your special ability is speed, which allows you to reach your destination quickly. If you bring me along, it will only be a burden to you. Besides, I have successfully advanced, and now is a critical moment for the survival of our tribe. Back in the cave, I can help the chief and the other tribesmen. Therefore, it is the best choice for you to go and deliver the message alone."
Mi listened to Tu's words and nodded in deep agreement, feeling grateful and respectful towards Tu.
He knew that Tu was right; if they didn't leave now, they might all be captured or killed by the enemy.
So, when the pit was dug big enough, Mi quickly transformed back into her beast form and rushed out at top speed.
Tu breathed a sigh of relief after seeing Mi escape successfully, but he didn't stop what he was doing. He carefully covered the pit again, making sure there were no traces left.
After completing all this, he turned around with peace of mind and ran towards the cave.
His people and chieftains are there, and they will face it together, whether they are defeated or not.
After running out of the cave, Mimi immediately looked around warily, remaining highly alert at all times.
He noticed that the leopard clan's hideout was not far away, and his heart tightened.
He knew all too well that if the leopards discovered him, the consequences would be unimaginable.
Mimi slowly lay down and crawled on all fours, trying not to make a sound.
He observed his surroundings as he quietly moved forward.
Every step was filled with tension and danger, but Mi dared not relax for a moment.
After a long crawl, Mi finally reached the edge of the area far away from the leopard tribe.
Once she was sure it was safe, Mi stood up without hesitation and started running.
His target was the distant wolf clan, hoping to gain their help and support.
He used all his strength and supernatural abilities to make himself faster and more agile.
