Becoming an online member of NYCDAUG is easy, and
it's free!
All we ask is that you be willing to be an active community member
-- that you'll offer your advice and
suggestions to fellow members in those areas in which you're most
experienced or knowledgable.
We have separate egroups for each PDA platform so you can join
one or all of them depending on your interest.
To register simply follow these steps.
(If you already have a Yahoo! ID, you can find links to register
for any of our email groups below.)
1. Firstly, you DO NEED to set up a Yahoo! ID Account
at http://groups.yahoo.com/
and select REGISTER button option on upper right of window.
(It's free and comes with an email account as well but you don't
have to use it.)
You don't need to give too much personal information
but do attach a real name
to your Yahoo ID so we get to know you a bit better.
2. Once that's done, come back to this page and
select which email groups to subscribe below.
3. Specify how you want to read and post conference
messages and click on [Save Changes].
In EDIT MY MEMBERSHIP, You have options where you can use only
web interface or get email once a day in DIGEST form
or INDIVIDUAL Messages as they are posted and replied to. You
can also choose to keep messages in PLAIN text
(less graphic Ads from Yahoo sent) or CONVERTED TO HTML. You also
can select which email accounts you have can be used.
